Description:
Erect annual herb, up to 1 m. It can be distinguished by the leaves, which are usually 5-7 foliolate, the basal pair sometimes further divided. The flowers are yellow, including the ray-florets. In B. pilosa, the leaves are 3-foliolate and the ray-florets, if present, are white. B. biternata is much less frequent in occurrence.
