Leaves alternate, simple; petiole 5-8 mm long, usually curved, yellow-green, pubescent; lamina broadly obovate, apex rounded to truncate, base rounded, margin entire, adaxially bright green, sparsely pubescent to glabrate, abaxially grey-green with dense downy pubescence, venation prominent. Flowers past. Fruits monocarpic, each lobe finger-like, 1-seeded, bright red when ripe, tart but pleasant in taste.5
