| Notes: | Shrub; Notes: Densely branched, tall shrub, 2 m high. Bark grey to reddish brown; young branchlets with dense, yellow-brown, hispidulous indumentum. Leaves opposite, simple; petiole short, 2-3 mm long, sturdy, densely pubescent; stipule interpetiolar, narrowly lanceolate, 8 mm long, dark brown, membranous; lamina ovate to elliptic, 80-115 x 35-60 mm, apex acute, occasionally rounded, base cuneate, margin entire, ciliate adaxially dark green, pubescent to glabrate, abaxially olive-green with dark green venation, extremely dense hispidulous indumentum. Fruit globose, axillary, normally solitary, hard, apically scarred, 1.5-2 cm in diameter. |
