Rhizome filiform, creeping, with dense unbranched brown hairs to 0.5 mm long. Fronds spaced at 0.5–2 cm intervals. Stipe 2–25 mm long, glabrous except for the base, near apex with some minute scales when young. Lamina dark green, flabelliform, irregularly and rather deeply divided into 5–6 main divisions, 1–2.5 x 1–2.5 cm; ultimate segments linear, 1–2 mm long and up to 0.8 mm wide, obtuse to slightly emarginate; false veins absent; when dry with longitudinal pleats; with some minute scales when young. Sori terminal on segments in lower and middle part of lamina, less often in upper part as well; indusium obconic to urceolate, 1–1.5 mm long, 0.5–1 mm in diameter, slightly winged, the lips flared to 1.5 mm diameter; receptacle exserted to 2.5 mm. |
