Description of the genus

Monopodial epiphytes. Leaves alternate, fleshy. Inflorescences short, dense with zigzag rhachis. Flowers white. Sepals slightly shorter than petals but otherwise similar. Lip 3-lobed, spurred, the spur abruptly geniculate in the middle and dilated at the apex. Rostellum prominent. Pollinia 2.

Worldwide: 2 species in tropical Africa

Caprivi: 1 cultivated taxon.
