Description of the genus

Tree. Leaves compound, imparipinnate; leaflets entire, hairy. Flowers in large panicles. Petals 5, free. Filaments 10, fused to form a staminal tube. Fruit a drupe. Ovary with 2-3 erect staminal lobes.

Caprivi: 1 cultivated taxon.
