Erect unbranched herb, up to 20 cm high; flowers yellow

Both flowers and roots yellow. Stem slightly sticky. Fairly common locally.

Herb about 50 cms tall, dark green leaves, yellow flowers.

Suffrutex. fleshy yellowish hair covered stems +-30cm tall, lens-shaped leaves, width 1/3 length, evenly spaced along stems +- 2cm, leaves +- 45 degrees to stem, increasing in size along stem ending up as long as or longer than interleaf space. Flower heads at top, subspjerical cluster of about 50 bright yellow waxy flowers; flower: 5 petals, petals widest at base tapering gently to tip.

Annual herb to 30cm. Few small narrow leaves, +/- leafless, basal leaves rounded. Flowers in terminal inflorescence, small, lilac.

Twining herb over Dissotis shrubs. Florets white.

Shrub to 2.5 m tall, too hairy green mature leaves, pale green younger leaves. Common locally

Erect perennial herb to 60 cm, fls mauve-pink with darker pink ring in centre. Stem is dark red. Thin lvs curved upwards, sessile, pale green. Sometimes multiple stems. Locally common.

Erect herb to 40 cm tall. Flrs light pink with dark pink streaks on petals and dark pink throat. Locally common.

Annual herb to 3cm. Small mauve lipped flowers, 1 or 2 per plant. No leaves.

With a 5-lobed petal almost palmate. Purple flowers. Fairly common on these slopes.
