| Description: | More or less erect hairless annual herb, up to c.35 cm tall. Leaves alternate, ovate in outline, up to 5 × 4 cm but mostly smaller, pinnatifid with segments often lobed linear. Capitula in a lax terminal inflorescence, each hemispheric, up to 1 cm in diameter on peduncles up to 6 cm long. Ray-florets yellow to orange-yellow with a ligule c.2.5 mm long; disk-florets orange,c. 1.8 mm long. Achenes,oblong-cylindric, up to 5 mm long, more or less 3-angled. | |
