Common names:
Description: Erect or trailing perennial, 15-55 cm. Stems 4-ribbed, simple or sparsely branched. Leaves opposite, linear to oblong-elliptic, scabrid, glabrous except for very short hairs near the margins. Flowers in dense spherical clusters, one-sided at the nodes. Corolla white, tinged with pink; lobes triangular, densely hairy inside. Capsule almost squarish, glabrous, finely wrinkled, crowned with persistent lobes.
